TS EAMCET-II-2016

1.Entrance Test:
Medical Common Entrance Test – 2016 (TS EAMCET-II– 2016) will be conducted (as per G.O. Ms.No. 73 Higher Education EC.2 Dept., Dt: 28-07-2011, G.O.Ms.No.33 of Higher Education (TE/A2) Department dated 31-12-2014) by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) for entry into the first year MBBS & BDS courses only (Government Colleges and Convener quota in Private Colleges) offered for the academic year 2016-2017 in the State of Telangana.

2. Eligibility Criteria to appear for TS EAMCET-II-2016:
Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for TS EAMCET-2016:

a) Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.

b) Candidates should belong to the state of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy local / non – local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.

c) For MBBS / BDS Courses (as per GO Ms.No. 195 dated 07-07-2011):
(i) Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe & Backward Classes, the marks obtained shall be a minimum of 40% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology.
(ii) Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

3. Proof of satisfying the marks criteria in respect of candidates who appeared for the Qualifying examination during the year should be furnished within 7 days after publication of the examination results by the concerned examination Board.

4. Criteria for Ranking: 
The candidates who have secured qualifying marks in TS EAMCET-II-2016 and candidates belonging to the category of Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe, for whom qualifying marks have not been prescribed, shall be assigned ranking in the order of merit on the basis of combined score obtained by giving 75% weightage to the marks secured in TS EAMCET-II-2016 and 25% weightage to the marks secured in the relevant group subjects namely Biology, Physics, Chemistry of the qualifying examination.

5. Submission of the Online Application form for Medicine stream: Candidates with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects in their Intermediate or its equivalent course should submit online application for MBBS / BDS courses.

6. Detailed information regarding Syllabi, Procedure for Online Application etc., is given in the “Instruction Booklet”, displayed in the website www.tseamcet.in

7. Criteria for Admissions : 
i. As per G.O. Ms. No. 181 dated 21-05-2008 of Health Medical and Family Welfare (E1) Department for admission into MBBS / BDS courses on the basis of Competitive entrance examination, a candidate for admission to those courses must have obtained not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together both at qualifying and TS EAMCET-II-2016 examination,. In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC must have obtained not less than 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together both at qualifying and TS EAMCET-II-2016 examination.
ii. However, in all the cases, candidate shall fulfill the eligibility criteria as laid down in the relevant G.Os/Amendments/Notifications to be issued at the time of Admissions.

8. How to submit Application Form:
TS EAMCET-II– 2016 application should be submitted through ONLINE mode only.

 9. Date and Time of the Test and Registration Fee: 
Stream: Medical
Date: 09-07-2016
Time: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Registration fee: Rs. 250/- (for SC/ST candidates)
                            Rs. 500/- (for others)

10. Submission of Online Application form:
i. Date of commencement of submission of Online Application : 01-06-2016
ii. Last Date for submission of Online application: Without Late Fee : 07-06-2016 With a Late Fee of Rs. 500/- : 14-06-2016 With a Late Fee of Rs. 1,000/- : 21-06-2016 # With a Late Fee of Rs. 5,000/- : 28-06-2016 # With a Late Fee of Rs. 10,000/- : 06-07-2016 # Test Centre will be allotted at Hyderabad only.
 The Registration Fee / Late Fee may be paid at:
i. TS Online / AP Online Centers / Mee Seva centres / e-seva centers in Telangana / A.P. OR
ii. Through Payment Gateway (Credit Card / Debit Card / Net banking)

NOTE: 
1. This is only a Notification for entrance test and not a Prospectus. Candidate has to fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down in the relevant G.Os at the time of admission.
2. Relevant GOs issued by the State Government may be referred from time to time for the eligibility to get scholarship after admission into the Professional courses.
