The Indian School of Business (ISB) evoled from the need fro a world class business school in Asia.The founder,Some of the best minds from the corporate and academic worlds,anticipated the leadership needs of the emerging Asian economies.

Leadership & Governance:

Administration at the Indian School of Business (ISB) broadly consists of the Dean’s Council, as well as the Executive and Governing Boards. The Governing Board comprises heads of Fortune 500 companies, noted entrepreneurs and leading academics, who have devoted time, thought, and resources towards establishing the School.

The Dean’s Council comprises senior administrators who cohesively take strategic and policy-level decisions for the School. The Council’s responsibilities include overall strategy direction, decision-making assistance for the Dean, support to the Board, policy-making and coordination of the School’s overall activities. Feedback from the ISB community is always encouraged and the Council provides guidance when necessary. Faculty as well as departmental and functional heads are invited to attend the Council’s monthly meetings when required.

The ISB curriculum is further enriched through input provided by corporations. This association allows the School to foster stimulating business-academic partnerships for teaching and research. We also engage business leaders and entrepreneurs to conduct discussions and workshops throughout the academic year in order to expose students to industry perspectives.
