Embedded Robotics WorkShop
Every amateur enthusiast needs platform to understand the necessity of various equipment and technologies in physical environment. This workshop explains you the basic fundamentals of embedded robotics. It mainly focuses on design of system and concept related o embedded system, programming and its applications in autonomous robots and automation.
Course Structure;
Day 1: Obstacle Avoider Robot
This is a simple robotic platform to understand the logical programming in designing a robot. This robot uses a micro controller brain to execute the commands step by step in avoiding the obstacles and comes out a circular maze.
Duration:6-7 Hours
1: AVR Platform
a:Embedded in Robotics
b:Basic of ATMEGA 16 MCU
c:Interaction and Project detailing
d:Basic Programming technologues
e:Interfacing I/O units
f:Introducing mobile robot
2:Task:
a:Project Detailing
b:Algorithm design and programming
c:Robot Building
d:Testing at Arena.
Day 2: Gesture Controlled Robot
Hand gesturing is a sign language.Robot has to understand the sign and has to act accordingly.A simple mobile robot is used and a MEMS based sensor is held on hand to calibrate the gesture and to give command to the robot.
